Discovering Lima, the capital, the city of kings, the center of Peru, with its hidden corners.
We will pick you up at your hotel and from there, with private transport and English-speaking guide, we discover the colonial Lima, heart and historical center of the city. We walk among the squares of San Martin and Plaza de Armas, visiting the Cathedral and the Convent Museum of San Francisco with its famous catacombs and the picture of the Peruvian version of the “last supper” with cuy as the main dish (guinea pig).
Then we walk through the Barranco district, the city’s most characteristic one, bohemian and close to the sea and finally we will return to Miraflores, the modern part of the city. Duration: approximately 5 hours.
City tour with a Spanish-speaking driver at your disposal. The driver – with private car – will take you to visit the historic colonial center of Lima (Plaza de Armas, Cathedral, Museo Convento di San Francisco), the Museo Larco (permanent exhibition of a wide range of pre-Columbian art crafts and exhibits from all of Peru) and the districts of Barranco and Miraflores.
The driver is not a guide and will not accompany you during visits, he’ll be waiting for you in the car; car available for about 7 hours.
