A nice bike ride, with MB of excellent quality, along the Vilcanota river, in the heart of the Sacred Valley.
Pick-up from the hotel in the Sacred Valley and we begin to pedal towards Huayllabamba. We then arrive in Urquillos: a beautiful ravine located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Here flows the Kullu Chaca, a creek that descends from the heights of Chinchero and flows into the Vilcanota River.
Urquillos is currently known as the best corn producer in the world, thanks to the climate in the area and the quality of the soil. Here we can appreciate a wonderful system of Inca terraces that are in full operation. We can also observe the foundations of Inca temples under beautiful colonial houses that are still inhabited today, in large part by the descendants of these colonial families.
We continue our cycle through the path to Huycho to return to your hotel or to get to Ollantaytambo with Machu Picchu as final destination.
