A great trekking | Ausangate Mountain

Here we are again, sorry for the absence from the blog for some time, Peru is finally open to travel
and the first tourists are arriving!
Let’s start with this “gem”, ideal for personalizing and adding an unforgettable destination to your trip, a unique experience, in the heart of the Andes, with hot springs at the foot of the Ausangate’s majestic glacier, the highest mountain in the Cusco area with its 6348 meters on the sea level.

A little while ago we went to personally discover this new trip experience to include it among the
new 2022 proposals.

We leave Cusco at dawn with a comfortable private vehicle and a professional guide and after about 3 and a half hours of travel we arrive at the village of Pacchanta, at 4400 meters above sea level, a tiny and authentic Andean village, at the foot of the Ausangate.
The walk to visit the seven lagoons is not demanding, of course you walk between 4400 and 4500 meters above sea level (and therefore there is less oxygen) but the path is practically all flat and there are several stops to observe these beautiful lagoons and glacier all around us.

In this place you will feel so close to the blue sky and the clouds!
On the way back, waiting for a good rustic lunch in one of Pacchanta’s family restaurants, we will be able to enjoy the hot springs, with a sensational view of the majestic Ausangate, in front of us.

We recommend you to add this excursion to your plans, you will be thrilled!!
Ideal time to visit it?? From April to November! We are waiting for you!
