MexicoIn Mexico, the Latin America’s contradictions become more evident than ever. Rich cities and “Western” standard life oppose and clash with a great part of the population, mainly of indigenous origins, who are excluded from the access to the most basic goods. It’ impossible you can’t notice a so sharp inequality.
In collaboration with the Association Yirtrak, the Colectivo Lajkin and through four exploring trips, we’ve met and identified the projects that are sustained by the project fee of every MessicoEtico tour.
Same of the tours in Peru, the Messico tours mandatory include the visit to the project that are sustained through the project fee: a project in Mexico City dedicated to street young people, a community home dedicated to the poor and emarginated population living in “Cerro Ajusco” in the capital outskirts and a wonderful eco-school in Chiapas that helps the children coming from the indigenous communities.
