Visit the Paracas Reserve and take a boat to the Ballestas Islands, with its exceptional variety of wildlife (sea lions, birds). This tour is for nature lovers…
Day 1 Arrival in Paracas. Pick-up at the bus terminal. Night in hotel.
Day 2 Around 7 a.m., we’ll come pick you up at the hotel and take you to the Paracas Nature Reserve, where we’ll get in a motorboat. We’ll visit the “Candelabra,” a giant design on a sand dune that has survived the passing of time. Next, we’ll go to the Ballestas Islands, where we’ll see an incredible number of birds, such as seagulls and pelicans, and other animals such as sea lions, penguins, seals and, with a bit of luck, even dolphins. We’ll go back to the harbor around 10 a.m. and, after relaxing for half an hour, begin to explore the dry land part of the Paracas Reserve. We’ll get to the Museum via private transportation, and there our guide will introduce us to the thousands-year-old Paracas culture (1000 B.C.E.-300 B.C.E.). We’ll then visit the beautiful beaches, such as Mina and Lagunillas (where we can eat the delicious fresh fish for lunch). The excursion will finish around 4:30 p.m.
