MessicoEtico was born when PeruEtico and the Colectivo Lajkin Responsible Tourism met. The Colectivo Laikin is formed by some Italian young people that live in San Cristobal de las Casas, who have been accompanying responsible tourism tours since 2002 in Chiapas, Yucatan and Oaxaca and will let you deepen many anthropological, social, political and economical aspects.
The Colectivo Zapayas@s also takes part, they are a group of clowns and actors of the criticism theatre that works in different situations of Mexico and Central America and creates meeting points, exchange and reflection situations on political and social aspects through the theatre language, the arts and laughing.
The Colectivo philosophy is based on a traveling concept as a privileged moment during which you can meet a new culture and have a full comprehension of the complex reality of the country that you’re visiting.
Throughout one year, we travelled all together defining the projects that we would have supported and we introduced new and alternative touristic destinations to let you know Mexico, its history, its wonders and its people.

Our tours in Mexico have always on mind these values that are essential for the responsible tourism

Low-energy and water consumption accommodations.
Developing the local economy: local guides and cultural mediators, accommodation and restaurants in local structures.
Culture: rediscovery and enhancement of local and popular legends and stories, real knowledge of the visited country and enhancement of cultural diversities.

Our journey begins in Teotihuacan, Aztec pyramid complex more important to get away from modern Mexico and see what still stands.
The town of Cuetzalan, retains the flavour of the Indians, with their own languages, strange colours and products..
Explore the pyramids Filo-Bobos River is for real explorers as being hidden in the jungle, these pyramids are located on the banks of the river at gunpoint.
Cotlamani represents the extreme hardness of Mexico during the Spanish conquest. New sensations absorb them eating with Mrs. Virginia, listening to talk Feliciano sitting fossil fish seller Cuetzalan, laughing and joking with Jalcomulco guides, listening to the Totonac and surprised with the “Voladores” (flyers).
Concept of excellence in this trip will be the real encounter of authentic cultures, archaeology different, never seen, and the diversity of the kitchen. Three great civilizations, the Olmeca and Totonac, Aztec-dominated cultures, never mentioned in tourist travel, but have contributed significantly to the history and tradition of Mexico.
Great concept for this trip, and is a unusual way off the beaten track, is to know the different archaeological these villages have never seen before. -
